The external DVD burner allows you to read and save data on a CD, as well as on a DVD with a capacity of 8.5 GB for a double-layer disc and 4.7 GB of data for a single-layer disc. You can burn at a speed of up to 8x for DVDs and 24x for CDs. In addition, support for reservoir underflow protection prevents potential problems. The DVD burner supports not only standard 12cm CDs and DVDs, but also their 8cm mini variants.
